| Position Summary | As the Lifeguard Supervisor, you will enjoy working in a large, fast-paced environment, and will be someone who has a desire to encourage people of all ages to take safety precautions around the water, whilst fostering their confidence in it. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the day-to-day operations of the facility with an energetic persona and enjoy working with children. |
| Job Duties and Responsibilities | · Supervising the pool and the surrounding areas · Supervising pool lifeguards on shift · Providing leadership, supervision, In service training and advice to all staff · Manage and monitor pool water quality and ensure all plant room daily tasks are completed · Ensure the safety of patrons both inside and outside the pools · Responding appropriately to emergency situations · Report risks or potential risks identified within the premises |
| Preferred Position Requirements | · 6 months of customer service experience · Lifeguarding experience · 6 months of head guard or supervising experience (Preferred) · Lifeguard and First Aid certified · Working With Children Check (or equivalent) · Legally entitled to work in Australia |
| Preferred Requirements | · 1-2 years of supervisory experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Pool Plant qualifications or ability to quickly gain · If applicant does not hold all of the required qualifications, they will be considered for training provided by Royal Life Saving Queensland |

| Pay Rate | $35.00/hour and $37.00 on Public Holidays and Weekends |
