Passionate about water safety and lifesaving education?
Royal Life Saving Society Queensland (RLSSQ) is recruiting volunteers who care about educating the community about water safety and lifesaving skills.
Do you have some experience with Water Safety Community Education programs or lifesaving education?
Can you assist with the delivery of water safety and lifesaving education to children and adults across a wide range of community focused programs?
Volunteers will assist with teaching survival skills in the water AND/OR assist with teaching water safety education theory in a classroom.
When you join Royal Life Saving as a volunteer member, you'll be empowered to make a difference and discover what success means to you and, best of all, you'll be joining an organisation of people who love helping others.
Successful volunteers will need:
to have water safety knowledge and education
be comfortable working with small and large groups of adults and children
be confident in demonstration of and instruction in water safety and first aid skills
preferably Swim Teacher, Bronze Medallion or Pool Lifeguard qualifications
CPR and First Aid
Volunteer hours are flexible and training will be provided to volunteers.
