CPR & Defibrillator Awareness

Royal Life Saving offers non-accredited CPR & Defibrillator Awareness sessions. These sessions are interactive, engaging participants with hands-on experience using CPR training equipment. Royal Life Saving can also facilitate training on purchased defibrillators, ensuring that communities are prepared to handle critical situations with confidence, empowering individuals to become effective first responders in any emergency.


Water STAARS

Water STAARS is a program targeted towards individuals between 5-21 years of age with a disability to access the beach. Over the course of four sessions, each session focuses on water and personal safety within and around aquatic spaces.

The program aims to drive disability participation, and allow many individuals (who have not previously had the opportunity) the chance to access aquatic spaces in a safe and supportive and educational manner.


Aqua Smart for the Young at Heart

The Royal Life Saving Society Aqua Smart for the Young at Heart is a water safety program for older people aiming to highlight active supervision for families, rescue techniques and water environment signage and safety.

The Aqua Smart for the Young at Heart program endeavours to teach participants a range of rescue techniques and provide them with skills to deal with an emergency situation and to develop confidence and competence to supervise and enjoy aquatic recreational activities.


First Aid for Families

The Royal Life Saving First Aid for Families Program is a program for families aiming to gain and provide First Aid and CPR
awareness skills and knowledge.

The Program recognises that Families who participate in this program, will gain skills and knowledge that may impact on their behaviours in everyday locations and be able to render assistance in an emergency. It
endeavours to teach families a range of personal First Aid and CPR techniques and provide them with skills to deal with an
emergency situation.


Junior First Aid

The Royal Life Saving Junior First Aid Program is a program focusing on the Junior age group aiming to provide a range of personal First Aid and CPR awareness techniques, skills and knowledge.

The Program recognises that children aged 5 – 13 who participate in this program, will gain skills and knowledge that may make an impact in everyday locations and be able to render assistance in an emergency.
