Job Description | We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Education Delivery Officer to join our team. As an Education Delivery Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering water safety education programs to a diverse range of audiences, including school children, community groups, multicultural communities, and First Nations. You will also be involved in sports development, business development, and community engagement initiatives. |
Position Summary | This role is to build and grow the organisation including our online presence, event planning, sponsorship/partnership management, print assets, produce our reports and other publications/media. |
Job Duties and Responsibilities | Job Duties and Responsibilities – Providing a high level of customer service to all clients and stakeholders – Answering phones and emails, scheduling of calendars School Programs: – Deliver school-based water safety education to students ranging from Prep to year 12. Community, Multicultural and First Nations Engagement Programs: – Conduct community-based water safety education sessions for groups of all ages. – Deliver water safety education to migrant and CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) communities. – Collaborate with First Nations communities to promote water safety awareness and education. Business Development: – Make calls and contacts to promote the organisation’s services. – Actively participate in promoting the organisation’s mission and values. Partnerships: – Establish and nurture partnerships within the community to enhance program reach and impact. Information Sessions: – Host high-quality information sessions on water safety and related topics. – Strong communication and presentation skills. – Experience in delivering educational programs to diverse audiences. – Knowledge of water safety principles and practices is a plus. – Demonstrated ability to build and maintain partnerships. – Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed. |
Position Requirements | – Working With Children Check (or equivalent) – Legally entitled to work in Australia – High communication and customer service skills – First Aid & CPR – Pool Lifeguard or Bronze Medallion or Swim Teacher (highly considered) Blue Card |
Preferred Requirements | – Year 12 certificate – Good written and verbal communication skills – Positive attitude and willingness to learn |
Employment Status | A casual and a full time position are available |
Pay Rate | Full Time: $50 to $60K (with experience) Casual: Entry level 2 fitness industry award |
